NMBU's  research is enabling people all over the world to tackle the big, global challenges regarding the environment, sustainable development, how to improve human and animal health, renewable energy sources, food production, and land- and resource management.

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) creates knowledge for a better world and solutions that can change everyday life. NTNU commits itself to contribute to such a transition by minimizing the ecological footprint in developing the existing resources, and to massively invest in research related to renewable energy sources.

The Gdańsk University of Technology is a technical university in Gdansk-Wrzeszcz , and one of the oldest universities in Poland. GUT is the first and only Polish university to be a member of the CDIO Initiative, founded by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in collaboration with Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden.
